Maintaining safe working conditions
In the event that a Pro shows up to a shift showing symptoms of illness, you can always excuse them to prevent exposing the rest of your staff. If a Pro is sent home partway through a shift, you are not charged for the remaining scheduled duration of the shift.
Practice good personal hygiene
Per CDC guidelines, below are general guidelines to practice good personal hygiene to protect yourself and others:
- Wash your hands thoroughly and often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands
- Maintain at least a 6-foot distance from individuals who are sick
- Use a hand sanitizer that is at least 60% alcohol
- Cover your cough or sneeze with tissues and then throw them away
